By accessing and using Graphite ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Graphite is a free, browser-based drawing application that allows users to:

  • Create sketches and diagrams using various drawing tools
  • Export drawings in PNG and PDF formats
  • Store drawings locally in their browser

The Service is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied.

3. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Use the Service to create, store, or share content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others

4. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain all rights to the drawings and content you create using Graphite. We claim no ownership over your work.

The Service: The Graphite application, including its design, code, and features, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Service without permission.

5. Data Storage and Backup

Important information about your data:

  • All drawings are stored locally in your browser's localStorage
  • We do not backup your data on our servers
  • You are responsible for exporting and backing up your own work
  • Clearing your browser data will permanently delete your drawings
  • We are not liable for any lost data

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOSS OF USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

8. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
